Zusammenfassung:	A method and an apparatus for reproducing a recording medium are provided to prevent instability of servo and noise resulting from the instability, and to improve reproduction speed by repeating the non-reproducible section immediately. A method for reproducing a recording medium is as follows. Light is illuminated in the specific section of the recording medium. The light reflected off the recording medium is detected. The signal based on the detected light is outputted. Instability of the outputted signal is determined. A signal is outputted again depending on the signal instability in the specific section(S65).
