Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for operating a high-pressure discharge lamp (14), comprising an electronic ballast that is designed to feed an AC supply signal to the high-pressure discharge lamp (14), the AC supply signal having a minimum frequency of 1MHz. The electronic ballast is also designed to modulate the amplitude of the AC supply signal.
