Zusammenfassung:	An automatic guided vehicle system includes an automatic guided vehicle, which has a battery mounted thereon and moves by a driving motor driven by the battery, and a recharging device for recharging the battery. The automatic guided vehicle is provided with a fixed position detecting sensor, which detects a stopping position for recharging by the recharging device, and an optical communication device for requesting recharging to the recharging device. The recharging device recharges the battery of the automatic guided vehicle upon the recharging request from the automatic guided vehicle. With such automatic guided vehicle system, the battery can be recharged without requiring battery replacing operation. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
