ARTIFICIAL PLANT ISLAND WITH SUBMERGED PLANTS

Provided is an artificial plant island which suppresses the growth of green algae, further increases the contaminant-purifying capability, is easily replaced, and prevents the generation of eutrophication even during the underwater decomposition. An artificial plant island using submerged plants comprises a plurality of block structures, a top side-opened culture box(500), flowerpots(510), and clamping members. The block structures each comprises a fixed frame, a plurality of pallets, and fixtures to form a unit structure. The pallets are arranged on an inner part of the fixed frame. The fixtures couple the pallets to the fixed frame. The culture box is placed on each pallet of the block structure. The flowerpots are received in the culture box. The flowerpots have submerged plants planted in soil filled in the flowerpots. The clamping members guide the block structures such that the block structures are placed on the clamping members and the block structures are joined with one another.
