Zusammenfassung: | A steering direction recognizing method is provided to recognize whether steering direction is right or left according to output signals from first and second steering angle sensors, thereby reducing operation time for the steering direction recognition. A steering direction recognizing method includes the steps of determining the generation of a rising edge in an output wave form of a first steering angle sensor in response to interrupt generation(S1,S10), determining whether output values from first and second steering angle sensors are equal or not to recognize steering direction if so(S30,S32), determining whether output values from first and second steering angle sensors are equal or not to recognize steering direction if a falling edge is generated in the output wave form of the first steering angle sensor, determining the generation of a rising edge in an output wave form of a second steering angle sensor(S20), determining whether output values from the first and second steering angle sensors are equal or not to recognize steering direction if so, and determining whether output values from the first and second steering angle sensors are equal or not to recognize steering direction if a falling edge is generated in the output wave form of the second steering angle sensor. |
