A compound which promotes the differentiation from a stem cell to cardiac myocyte is denoted by the chemical formula 1. The derivative of the compound is denoted by the chemical formula 2. A method for inducing from the stem cell to cardiac myocyte comprises a step of culturing the stem cell in the presence of the compound of the derivative. In the chemical formula, R1 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, halike, nitro, cyano, alkoxycarbonyl, amino group and substituted or non-substituted aryl group or heteroaryl group.
