Zusammenfassung:A method for manufacturing polycarbosilane is provided to efficiently prepare polycarbosilane including impurities caused by a catalyst by using an inexpensive catalyst and to easily remove a reaction catalyst in a synthesizing process. A method for manufacturing polycarbosilane comprises a step of synthesizing polycarbosilane from polydimethylsilane by using alumina powder as a catalyst. The catalyst is mixed with alumina powder, zeolite inert ceramics or Lewis acid solid acid catalyst. The method further comprises the steps of: providing an organic metal precursor; and removing the catalyst by filtering or centrifuging the manufactured polycarbosilane.
