Zusammenfassung:	A plasma display panel and plasma display apparatus having the same is provided to improve contrast and brightness by controlling the height of barrier and the interval between electrodes. A plasma display apparatus comprises a plasma display panel and a driving part. The plasma display panel comprises a front substrate(201), a rear substrate(211), a barrier(212), and a fluorescent material layer. The discharge cell is divided between the front substrate and rear substrate separated by the barrier. The fluorescent material layer is arranged within the discharge cell while including the fluorescent substance material and the additive material. In the discharge cell, the interval of a sustain electrode(203) and a scan electrode(202) is higher than that of the barrier.
