APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RELAYING DATA

An apparatus and a method for relaying data are provided to reduce resolution or color degree of a part of the entire image when sufficient wireless lines are not prepared, thereby preventing loss of the entire image. A receiver(210) receives transmittable speed and receivable speed of a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal. A transmission speed comparing unit(250) compares the transmittable speed with the receivable speed. According to the comparison result, an image generator(260) produces an image in which an image data amount received from the transmitting terminal decreases. A transmitter(220) transmits the image in which a data amount decreases to the receiving terminal.
