Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for producing nanoscale metal phosphates. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple method for producing the aforementioned nanoscale phosphates, in which the nanoparticles have the desired particle size, particle size distribution and high degree of purity without undesired impurities. This is achieved by a method comprising the following stages: a) a solution is prepared containing a1) a compound comprising the metal cation or a mixture of compounds comprising several metal cations, phosphoric acid (H3PO4), an organic carboxylic acid and optionally water, or containing a2) a phosphate compound of the metal cation or phosphate compounds of different metal cations, an organic carboxylic acid and optionally water; and b) the solution is atomised in a reactor at a temperature in excess of 100 °C, said temperature being selected in such a way that the organic acid and the water evaporate from the solution to produce nanoscale particles.
