Zusammenfassung:A method for determining trapping efficiency and/or a scavenging air mass of an internal combustion engine is provided to form efficiency curve according to jet mass of cylinder fuel and determine optimum jet mass based on the efficiency curve. The efficiency curve(etaKL,M1) of an internal combustion engine is formed according to jet mass(mK) of cylinder fuel to a boiling point(BP) in which the scavenging of the cylinder of the internal combustion engine is performed. The optimum jet mass(MK,OPT) is determined on the optimum efficiency(etaOPT,1) of the internal combustion engine based on the efficiency curve. The optimum jet mass is trapping efficiency index and/or scavenging air mass index of the internal combustion engine.
