Zusammenfassung:	A test method exhaust for an exhaust gas probe of an internal combustion engine, especially for a lambda probe is provided to check the output signal of the exhaust gas probe and detect error condition of the exhaust gas probe based on the output signal. A test method exhaust for an exhaust gas probe of an internal combustion engine comprises a step of output signal(lambda1, lambda2) of the exhaust gas probes(8,9), a step of detecting an error of the exhaust gas probe based on the output signal of the exhaust gas probe, and a step of distinguishing different error conditions of the exhaust gas probe. The error condition of the exhaust gas probe includes wire breaking of lead wire and heating error by a exhaust gas probe heater.
