Zusammenfassung:	A multilateral chatting system through a multimedia Internet phone for smoothly operating a chatting room by compensating reduction and waiting time, and a method thereof are provided to adjust speed of voice output from each terminal during chatting among one teacher and a plurality of students in the chatting room opened in a homepage. A first system comprises student terms(40-60), student terminals(30), and a central server(20) connected to the multimedia VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) network. The central server comprises a chatting room management device, a point computing device, a voice speed/point storing device, and a chatting room information storing device. The teacher terminal comprises a voice storing device, a fast/slow voice listening device, a voice/point display device, and a student evaluating device. The student terminal comprises the voice storing device, the fast/slow voice listening device, and the voice/point display device.
