Zusammenfassung:	A shielding apparatus for the thermocouple of a high pressure reactor for the desulfurization process is provided to shield the leakage path in case of the leakage of toxic gas. A shielding apparatus for the thermocouple of a high pressure reactor for the desulfurization process comprises a protection pipe(20) which penetrates the body of the high pressure reactor(1) so as to be installed; a thermocouple(30) which is installed at the terminal of the protection pipe so as to be dipped in the catalyst charged inside the high pressure reactor; a temperature sensor(31) which is installed inside the protection pipe in the state connected to the thermocouple and measures the reaction temperature of catalyst; and a leakage shielding unit(3) which is installed at the protection pipe exposed at the outside of the high pressure reactor to shield the leakage path of toxic gas.
