SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EXTERNAL DEVICE BY DIGITAL MOVING PICTURE

A system and a method for controlling an external device with digital moving picture while playing the digital moving picture are provided to enable an SP(Service Provider) to control the external device by downloading an external device control protocol list through digital streaming moving picture in real-time and transferring a control protocol fixed to a frame while the moving picture is played. A moving picture server(100) transmits moving picture to a moving picture player(120). A control protocol server(110) transmits a control protocol list for the specific moving picture to the moving picture player in real-time. A controlled device(130) is controlled by the moving picture player in real-time. The moving picture player controls the controlled device in real-time by transmitting the specific frame of the moving picture among the control protocol list when the moving picture received from the moving picture server in real-time is played.
