Zusammenfassung:	A 2D-3D convertible display device having a background of full-parallax integral images and a method thereof are provided to display a main image of high resolution in a floating image method and display a sub image or a background image having a full parallax in an integrated image method. A first display unit(420) outputs one between a composite image or a backlight. A second display unit(430) outputs a main image in which a major object is photographed. A lens unit(440) recovers the composite video into a 3D image. The major image is a two-dimensional image. An integrated image made of an element image not corresponding to the major object and an image of a white color having the same shape and size as the major object are synthesized to generate the composite image.
