Zusammenfassung:	A squeezing method and a squeezing device capable of safely squeezing contents of viscous material with less residue and waste, comprising the steps of squeezing the viscous material (21) by holding and pressing an unsealed package body (22) by two sheets of plate-like members (2) and (3) in the state of the package body (22) disposed between the plate-like members (2) and (3) rotatably connected to each other. The squeezing device (1) comprises a support plate (2) supporting the package body (22) and a pressing plate (3) having one end rotatably fitted to the support plate (2), and is formed so that the package body (22) supported by the support plate (2) is held and pressed between the support plate (2) and the pressing plate (3). A roller (10) pressing the pressing plate (3) against the support plate (2) is desirably installed in the squeezing device (1). Also, guide mechanisms (4) such as rack gears (4a) for guiding the roller (10) are desirably installed on both sides of the support plate (2).
