Zusammenfassung:	An image recording and reproducing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to convert video and audio outputted from a broadcasting apparatus, a PC, a microphone and an external audio apparatus into a digital moving picture. A video receiving unit(210) receives an external analog image signal. An audio receiving unit(220) receives an external analog audio signal. An audio input unit(230) receives audio generated in a microphone and an external audio apparatus. A video/audio encoding unit(240) converts a signal selectively inputted from the video receiving unit, the audio receiving unit and the audio input unit into one digital moving data. A storage unit(250) stores the digital moving data converted in the video/audio encoding unit.
