TRANSFORMATING INFORMATION APPARATUS AND METHOD

An information converting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to convert image and audio information displayed on an apparatus having a display into a digital moving picture, store the digital moving picture and transmit the stored moving picture to a reproducing apparatus without an additional converting work, thereby immediately reproducing the moving picture. A data interface unit(140) receives screen data, an audio signal and an MIC signal transmitted from an information display apparatus through a data interface during recording. The data interface unit interfaces digital moving picture data converted and stored during reproduction to the information display apparatus. An audio receiving unit(210) receives a voice signal inputted through a microphone or an audio signal outputted from an external audio apparatus. A video/audio encoding unit(230) selectively converts a signal inputted from the data interface unit and the audio receiving unit into digital moving picture data. A storage unit(240) stores digital moving picture data converted in the video/audio encoding unit.
