Zusammenfassung:	A lift chair for the invalid is provided, which enables operation by the invalid without the separate protector. A lift chair for the invalid comprises: a seat(10) having a seat back(11); a lateral plate(20) mounted on both sides of a seat; a support rod(30) in which the seat is positioned at the bottom part; and a power transmission unit(50) which ascends and descends by the operation of the actuator(40) hinge-coupled with the support rod and delivers the driving force of the actuator to the seat between seat and the support rod.
