A SWNT-UHF combined sensor and gas insulated switchgear using the same is comprised of steps: sensing harmonic generated inside of the GIS by utilizing a UHF sensor(S101); sensing more than one of ion of the SF6 gas or products which are disassembled to the ion by utilizing the SWNT sensor(S102); deciding whether partial discharge of the GIS is generated or not based on the UHF sensor and the result of the SWNT sensor.
