Zusammenfassung:A system and a method for providing the security to the external SATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) apparatus are provided to supply the protection of individual private and maintain the security of data when back-up of data or loss of a laptop or a portable storage. A first partition of an external SATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) apparatus storage unit is provided to a computer apparatus as a read only memory(402). It limits that the computer apparatus accesses in the secured second partition of the external SATA(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) apparatus(404). Access to the second partition of the outside SATA storage unit is opened according to accept the effective identity information authentication(410).
