A cosmetic composition for improving acne comprises Lactobacillus rhamnosus lactic bacteria or a culture fluid of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus lactic bacteria as an active ingredient. The Lactobacillus rhamnosus lactic bacteria is a Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain PL 60(KCCM-10654P) and is raw bacteria, dried bacteria or killed organism. The cosmetic composition suppresses growth of acne-causing bacterium which is Propionibacterium acnes.
