PROCESS FOR PREPARING HIGH PURITY CYCLOHEXANOL BY HYDROGENATION

A manufacturing method of cyclohexanol is provided to obtain cyclohexanol of high purity with a continuous process by controlling the reaction heat of high temperature generated in hydrogenation of phenol by using cyclohexanol which is product. A high purity cyclohexanol is prepared by carrying out hydrogenation of phenol in the presence of a catalyst. A manufacturing method of high purity cyclohexanol comprises a step for recirculating a part of the cyclohexanol which is a product in hydrogenation; a step for separating the excess of gas from the reaction product for hydrogenation after a hydrogenation step, and obtaining the high purity cyclohexanol which is a liquid reaction product; and a step for recirculating a part of the cyclohexanol which is the reaction product to the hydrogenation step.
