Zusammenfassung:	In a method for manufacturing a ceramic honeycomb filter, a sealing section is formed at a position separated from an end surface of a flow channel of a ceramic honeycomb structure having many flow channels partitioned by partition walls. The method has a step of filling one end surface side of the flow channel with a base material, filling the flow channel, in which the sealing section is to be formed, with a sealing section forming material from the other end surface side, and firing the material.
