Zusammenfassung:An artificial silica is provided to improve heat resistance, to be altered and used to natural silica sand and to prevent brake of the casting mol, and crack phenomenon when is applied at the casting mold and a melted iron continuous casting process. An artificial silica sand contains 72 - 85 weight% of SiO2, 10 - 18 weight% of Al2O3, 0.1 - 1.0 weight% of Fe2O3, 0.2 - 0.5 weight% of CaO, 0.05 - 0.2 weight% of MgO, 2 - 6 weight% of K2O and 0.1 - 1.0 weight% of Na2O. The artificial silica sand has a sphere of grain shape. A particle size of the artificial silica sand is 6 - 200 meshes.
