DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING DATA

A device and a method for transmitting data are provided to expand bandwidth twice wider during data transmission by converting m bit parallel data into an n bit serial data stream and transmitting the n bit serial data stream by using a low voltage differential signal. A sensor unit(202) includes an image sensor(210) and the first interface unit(220). A processor(204) includes the second interface unit(230) and an image signal processor(240). An image sensor generates a signal(pixel data) into which a light signal is converted and outputs the pixel data to the first interface unit. An image sensor generates the pixel data and synchronizing signals synchronized with the corresponding pixel data, and outputs them to the first interface unit. Synchronizing signals are a clock signal(PCLK), a vertical synchronizing signal(VSYNC) and a valid data enable signal(HREF). The clock signal is a synchronizing signal for obtaining the pixel data output from the image sensor, the vertical synchronizing signal is a synchronizing signal for identifying data according to each frame, and the valid data enable signal is a synchronizing signal for identifying data output during a valid interval, each line.
