METHOD FOR USER INTERFACE USING THE TOUCH SCREEN

A user interface method using a touch screen is provided to change images representing functions of respective functional modules mounted in a terminal according to a drag direction recognized through the touch screen such that a user selectively executes the functional modules. It is determined whether a contact signal inputted through a touch screen corresponds to a drag signal(S25). When the contact signal corresponds to the drag signal, the start coordinates and the end coordinates of the drag signal are confirmed to recognize a drag direction(S27). An image processor of a user interface device is controlled to change an image representing a function, which is displayed on the touch screen, to another function image.
