POLYALKYLENEAMINE ADDUCTS AS CURING AGENTS FOR THICK LAYER WATER-BASED EPOXY SYSTEMS

A curing agent composition is provided to maintain single-phase uniformity for a long time, and to form polymer or modified cements, tile grouts, self-leveling floors and grouts together with cementitious materials. A curing agent composition includes a reaction product of (A) at least one polyalkylene polyether polyol-modified polyepoxide resin and (B) a polyalkyleneamine composition comprising a mixture of N-3-aminopropyl ethylenediamine, N,N'-bis(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine, and N,N,N'-tris(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine, or includes a contact product of (i) a reaction product of (A) at least one polyalkylene polyether polyol-modified polyepoxide resin and (B) at least one polyalkyleneamine, (ii) at least one polyfunctional amine having at least two active amine hydrogens, and optionally (iii) an acid.
