WIRELESS HEADSET AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A wireless headset and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily charge the wireless headset by using a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port instead of a dedicated charging port. A wireless headset includes a memory unit(322), a connector unit(310), and a controller(326). Internet telephone program for providing voice communication through the Internet network is stored in the memory unit. The connector unit is connected to an electronic apparatus, which is connected to the Internet network. When the wireless headset is connected to the electronic apparatus through the connector unit, the controller executes the Internet telephone program stored in the memory unit on the electronic apparatus and couples a portable terminal with the electronic apparatus, such that voice signals are transmitted to the portable terminal through the Internet network.
