MEASURING SYSTEM FOR GROUTING-DEFECT OF ROCK-BOLT AND MEASURING METHOD USING THE SAME

A system and a method for measuring a grouting defect of a rock bolt is provided to check the grouting defect or the size of the grouting defect by measuring and analyzing a signal wave artificially generated from an end of the rock bolt laid under the ground. A system for measuring a grouting defect of a rock bolt comprises a rock bolt(100) laid under the ground, an excitation member(300), a vibration collecting member(400), a pulse generating member(350), an inspection member and a control member(500). The rock bolt is coated with grouting material. The excitation member is installed at a first end of the rock bolt to generate elastic wave. The vibration collecting member is installed at a second end of the rock bolt to collect the elastic wave. The pulse generating member is connected to the excitation member to generate electric signals. The inspection member analyzes the elastic wave collected by the vibration collecting member. The control unit controls the pulse generating unit and stores information on the elastic wave.
