METHOD FOR CANCELING INTERFERENCE IN RELAY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A system and a method for transmitting and receiving signals in a relay communication system are provided to use radio resources and to cancel signal interference effectively. A base station receives the first signal from at least one mobile station, which exists at the common range between the base station and a relay station, at the first time domain. The base station decodes the first signal. At the second time domain, the base station receives the second signal the relay station relays. The base station removes the first signal component from the second signal and obtains the third signal. In this case, the relay station receives the first signal as an interference signal at the first time domain, and the second signal contains the first signal component and the third signal component the relay station receives from a mobile station which is out of the range of the base station.
