SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PLANNING OF 3PL TRANSPORTATION NETWORK

A system and a method for planning a third party logistics network are provided to plan entire transportation path efficiently regardless of an area, output an optimal result to a user by considering a transportation mode, routing, and scheduling integrally, and enable a cargo owner to reduce logistics cost and enhance a service by generating various optimal transportation networks according to a request of the cargo owner. A customer database receives and stores logistics information. The logistics information includes a cargo owner profile, departure/arrival date, a departure/arrival place, a cargo type, and quantity. A data management block(23) collects and manages data for planning a logistics network. A transportation network search block(21) searches a suitable transportation network by considering feature of each cargo/transporter and received schedule information, and provides an interface for interacting with a user. A time/cost calculation block(22) calculates time and standard cost needed for each searched transportation network. An optimal transportation network selection block(26) selects the required transportation network according to an evaluation result of the searched transportation networks.
