Zusammenfassung:A high speed camera phone shutter using ferroelectric liquid crystal is provided to realize ultra light shutter using an ultra thin cell to thereby reduce weight of a mobile phone. A high speed camera phone shutter(100) using ferroelectric liquid crystal includes an analyzer(110), a ferroelectric liquid crystal cell(124), transparent electrodes(118), and a polarizer(120). The analyzer is formed on an upper glass substrate(112). The ferroelectric liquid crystal cell is driven by a shutter driving unit(122), gets transmissive or reflective by electric field application, and is interposed between the upper glass substrate and a lower glass substrate(116). The transparent electrodes are formed beneath the upper glass substrate and on the lower glass substrate respectively. The polarizer is positioned beneath the lower glass substrate.
