WORDLINE DRIVING CIRCUIT

A word line driving circuit is provided to prevent a sub word line from being floated by pull-down driving the sub word line, to which a main word line signal is not applied. A word line driving circuit includes a main word line driver(10) and a switching unit(20). The main word line driver activates a main word line in response to a main word line driving signal. The switching unit receives an output signal from the main word line driver in response to a sub word line driving signal, and outputs the received signal to a sub word line. A pull-down driver(30) pull-down drives the sub word line in response to the sub word line driving signal. The pull-down driver includes a pull-down element for pull-down driving the sub word line in response to the sub word line driving signal.
