COOKING DEVICE

A cooking device is provided to receive overflowing amount in an overflowing amount receiving part of a support plate and to disperse the amount to the rice through overflowing amount dispersing holes for confirming that the rice is cooked uniformly. A cooking device(1) comprises a pot(7), a body(2), a control device, and a cover(10). The body has an opening and a heating unit(5). The control device controls the heating unit. The cover is pivoted at one side of the body to close the opening. The cover has inner and outer covers(11,12). A support plate(8) is placed at a lower side of the inner cover. The support plate includes an overflowing amount receiving part, and overflowing amount dispersing holes(8b) for scattering the overflowing amount. The outer cover has a storage tank(40) for storing the overflowing amount.
