APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR DIGITAL AQUARIUM FOR RECOGNITION OF OWNER BY VOICE AND IMAGE AND FOR CONVERSATIONAL INTERFACE AND MUTUALLY CONNECTION

A digital aquarium capable of recognizing an owner through voice and image recognition and achieving conversational interface with the owner and a method of controlling the digital aquarium are provided to allow a user to feel a virtual aquarium as an actual aquarium by using a virtual aquarium program, a voice recognition/voice synthesis function and an image processing technique. A digital aquarium includes a controller(10), a display(20), a button input unit(30), an image processor(40), a camera(50), a voice processor(60), and a speaker(70). The controller controls the display and processing of inputted voices and images. The display displays virtual aquatic animals and surrounding environment of a virtual aquarium under the control of the controller. The button input unit transfers a button value inputted by a user to the controller. The image processor processes an image inputted from the camera and transfers the processed image to the controller. The camera transmits a captured image to the image processor. The voice processor processes voices and is connected to the speaker. The speaker outputs the voices processed by the voice processor.
