METHOD OF ORGANISM SIGNAL DETECTION AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A method and an apparatus for detecting a biological signal are provided to improve the accuracy and reliability of the biological signal detected from a sensor unit by adjusting a contact pressure which is applied to the sensor unit. An apparatus for detecting a biological signal includes a sensor unit(20), and a control unit(31). The sensor unit detects a pressure which is applied by a person to be measured, and a biological signal from a body of the person to be measured. The control unit determines whether the detected pressure is within a predetermined pressure. The sensor unit includes a light source(21), a pressure sensor(22), and a receiving device(23). The light source radiates an optical signal to a body of the person to be measured. The pressure sensor detects a pressure which is applied to the sensor unit. The receiving device receives the optical signal which is radiated from the light source, and is reflected from the body of the person in contact with the sensor unit.
