Zusammenfassung: | A method and a device for decoding digital audio data are provided to parallel-process a filter bank, a deformatter, a Huffman decoder, and an inverse quantizer in order to shorten data processing time of the entire decoding system, thereby improving performance of the decoding system. A digital audio data decoding device(200) comprises an input buffer(210), a deformatter(220), a Huffman decoder(230), an inverse quantizer(240), a filter bank(250), an ALU(Arithmetic-Logic Unit,280), a controller(260), and a storage part(270). A first ROM(271) stores Huffman tables. The Huffman decoder stores the decoded result in a first RAM(274). A second ROM(272) stores index values used to carry out the inverse quantization. Entropy information from the deformatter is stored in a second RAM(275). The ALU is shared by the inverse quantizer and an IMDCT(Inverse Modified Cosine Transform,251). The filter bank includes the IMDCT and a window/overlap-add(255). |
