Zusammenfassung:	A method for improving performance of a nickel electrode is provided to obtain the improved nickel electrode during the sodium chloride electrolysis by adding a soluble or alkali-soluble platinum liquid with a reduction electrode liquid. A method for improving performance of a nickel electrode comprises the steps of; (a) manufacturing water soluble or alkali-soluble platinum liquid containing a solvent and a soluble platinum compound; and (b) adding the liquid with a reduction electrode liquid and forming a coating layer on the nickel electrode. The platinum compound is a soluble salt or compound acid.
