Zusammenfassung:	A light diffusion plate for a backlight unit is provided to enhance optical diffusion and surface hardness by forming unevenness on an external surface of the light diffusion plate. A light diffusion plate(10) for a backlight unit includes a transparent resin layer made of optical polystyrene resin and has total light transmittance of 45% or more with respect to a thickness of 2mm, haze of 90% or more with respect to the thickness of 2mm, and moisture absorptivity of 0.02 to 0.2 wt%. The transparent resin layer includes light diffusion particles inside. The light diffusion particles are formed by at least two kinds of particles with different sizes. Unevenness is formed on at least one surface of the transparent resin layer.
