IMPROVEMENT METHOD IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION

An improvement method in a mobile telecommunication system is provided to enable a network to set a timing method dynamically and to select a timing value related to the timing method so as to be suitable for specified applications on the basis of a logical reserved time. A mobile phone requests an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection to an RNC(Radio Network Controller). The RNC provides requested data to permit the RRC connection. The mobile phone transmits a service request message to an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node). After transmitting the request, the mobile phone initialize a timer by using a reserved timer value stored in a cache memory of the mobile phone. Requested security functions are set up among SGSN, RNC and the mobile phone. The SGSN transmits a service admission message to the mobile phone. The SGSN transmits RAB(Radio Access Bearer) assignment request to the RNC. As soon as the reserved time is expired, the mobile phone transmits additional service request(Service Type=Data) message.
