Zusammenfassung:A transformer and a power-saving transforming apparatus having the same are provided to reduce a no-load loss by performing a selective operation, a turbo-operation, and an uninterruptible switching operation of first and second transformers according to a use rate of the transformer. A transformer(10) includes a tank and first and second transformers(14,16). The tank has two divided regions. The first and second transformers are installed in two divided regions of the tank respectively. Only one or both of the first and second transformers are operated according to a real-time load. The tank has a heat pipe to discharge heat inside the transformer and a radiating fan to cool the heat pipe.
