Zusammenfassung:	A method for drying an evaporator of an air conditioner in a vehicle is provided to automatically switch a cooling mode to an odor prevention mode for drying the evaporator by discriminating a point of time predetermined time before get to the destination based on traffic information received from GPS. A method for drying an evaporator of an air conditioner in a vehicle comprises the steps of: discriminating if estimated time to destination is within a predetermined set time by receiving traffic information from GPS(S40); discriminating if a cooling mode is operating(S50); when estimated time to destination is within the predetermined set time and the cooling mode is operating, stopping the cooling mode and switching the mode to an outdoor mode for an air sucking mode, and to a floor mode for an air discharge mode, while maximizing air volume for operating an odor prevention mode that dries the evaporator(S60,S70).
