Zusammenfassung: | A method for manufacturing titanate nanotubes is provided to reduce an inside diameter and an external diameter of the nanotubes to 5 nm or smaller and 10 nm or smaller, respectively, and to produce the titanate nanotubes having a length of several hundred nm. A method for manufacturing titanate nanotubes includes the steps of: adding a titanium dioxide sol to a strong alkaline aqueous solution; heating the strong alkaline aqueous solution at predetermined temperature for a predetermined time to synthesize hydrothermally a dispersion containing titanate nanotubes; and adding hydrochloric acid to the strong alkaline aqueous solution to adjust pH of the aqueous solution, and washing the pH-adjusted aqueous solution with water. Further, the strong alkaline aqueous solution is NaOH or KOH water solution and has a concentration of 7.5 to 20 M. |
