HYDROGEL MASK PACK, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME, AND RELATED COMPOSITION

A hydrogel mask pack is provided to increase water content, skin-moisturizing effects and strength, enhance skin adhesion by increasing expansion properties, and improve skin beauty due to improved bio-affinity and skin restoration ability as characteristics of fibroin. A hydrogel mask pack composition comprises 1-10 wt.% of fibroin, 0.4-4 wt.% of a material selected from alginate, cellulose and agar, and a remaining amount of water. A method for preparing a hydrogel mask pack comprises the steps of: mixing fibroin solution with one material selected from alginate, cellulose and agar to prepare a composition for hydrogel mask pack; pouring the composition for hydrogel mask pack into a mould and shaping it; and dipping the mould in one solution selected from metal salt solution, alcohol and distilled water to induce gelation of the composition for hydrogel mask pack, wherein the metal salt solution is selected from calcium salt, magnesium salt, barium salt and aluminum salt; and the fibroin has the average molecular weight of 2,000 to 400,000. Further, the hydrogel mask pack composition additionally comprises squalene or glycerin.
