Zusammenfassung:A keypad assembly is provided to irradiate brighter light with the same LED(Light Emitting Diode) by using a waveguide plate whose rim is coated, thus it is beneficial to obtain a user's key button visibility while leakage of unnecessary light is prevented, consequently high quality of an apparatus is realized. A substrate(30) is equipped with at least one metal dome(31) at corresponding positions, and wherein at least one LED(32) is installed at proper positions. A waveguide plate(22) includes pressurizing projections for pressurizing the metal domes. A keytop layer(21) is stacked on the waveguide plate, and is used as a unit for inputting data by being exposed to the outside of an apparatus. The waveguide plate is equipped with a coating layer consisting of at least one layer.
