Zusammenfassung:A method for manufacturing a metal separator for a fuel cell is provided to maintain airtightness of the metal separator, to increase rigidity of the separator, to enable automation, and to facilitate mass production. A method for manufacturing a metal separator for a fuel cell includes: a first step of molding two pieces of flat plates into an uneven shape; a second step of coating the flat plates with a compound(15); a third step of matching the flat plates; and a fourth step of seaming the both end parts of the flat plates by rollers(18,19). The second step further comprises a step of, after the compound coating, matching the flat plates so that the second flat plate(11) is more protruded than the first flat plate(10) in a horizontal direction.
