DIGITAL BROADCAST RECEIVING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING OF BROADCAST SEEING AND HEARING INFORMATION

A digital broadcast receiving apparatus and a method for displaying broadcast seeing/hearing information thereof are provided to record and manage the broadcast seeing/hearing information using RSS, thereby sharing the broadcast watching information of a viewer. A digital broadcasting receiving apparatus(100) comprises a receiving unit(110), a generating unit(120), a display unit(150), an input unit(140), a storage unit(130), and a web service unit(160). The receiving unit receives a broadcasting signal through a selected broadcasting channel if the broadcasting channel is selected. The generating unit generates RSS(Really Simple Syndication) data corresponding to the received broadcasting signal on the basis of the PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol) information of the broadcasting signal if a broadcasting record input command for recording broadcasting seeing/hearing information is inputted through the input unit. The display unit displays the generated RSS data. The input unit receives an input command. The web service unit provides stored viewer generation information and the RSS data as a web service when Ethernet is connected to the digital broadcasting receiving apparatus.
