METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEETING MANAGEMENT

A method and a device for managing a meeting are provided to enable a meeting maker to manage a meeting, transfer needed information to meeting members, and check home coming of the meeting members after the meeting by collecting location information of each meeting member easily. A transceiver(210) exchanges information with external devices, and a meeting information storing part(220) stores the information for meetings. A meeting manager(230) provides the information related to start/finish of the meeting to a mobile terminal of each meeting member based on the information stored in the meeting information database. A meeting member location information manager(240) collects/manages location information related to a destination of the mobile terminal or a home of each meeting member. A meeting member location information storing part(250) stores the information related to a location, which is searched/managed by the meeting member location information manager, of the meeting members. A message maker(260) makes a message to be transmitted to the mobile terminal of a meeting maker and the meeting members by using the information stored in each information storing part.
